The Run Slovakia: our team race from Košice to Bratislava

For the sixth time, our great KLIMAK Hot and Cool Running Team took part in the nationwide running competition The Run Slovakia 2025, held on June 6–8. This year 89 teams from Slovakia and abroad competed. We once again put together a group of enthusiastic runners ready for a shared adventure. Everyone trained hard all year, pounding the roads to prepare for the challenges of this long course.

We looked forward to the first starting gun in Košice on Friday at 08:21, which launched the 533 km race. We enjoyed the unforgettable atmosphere, the goosebumps from cheering spectators, even in the smallest villages, where they prepared treats and refreshments for us. That spirit carried us through day and night, over hills, through forests, mud, and rain, all the way to the finish in Bratislava, where we arrived after 49 hours, 10 minutes, and 34 seconds. Out of 74 teams in our category, we placed 25th. Crossing the finish line, we were exhausted, but happy with the shared achievement. We are already looking forward to the next one 🙂
